David served our country as an eighteen year army Veteran. He loved fixing cars, cooking on the grill, music and his loving family.

David leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Jennifer Janey, Children; Christina, David II, James, Kelly and Jason. Brothers; (Calvin, Augustus Jr., William, Lawrence, Rochelle, Curtis, Robert, John and Joseph) Sisters; (Juanita and Kaye). His eleven grandchildren and two great granchildren.

David was preceded in death by his parents Augustus A. Janey and Hazel M. Duncan, his brother Calvin Duncan and his grandson Travis Hubbert, Jr.

Mr. Janey, aka "Pop"" was an Amazing man, he was always out going and he was loved by so many. He was a father to more than his children and for that I will always be greatful for the knowledge and love he shared with us. He was ONE OF A KIND, and he will forever be missed. To the family we send our deepest condolences 🙏🏽 and pray for comfort and peace in yalls time of need. If yall need anything plz dont hesitate we are here for yall. We love you Pops S.I.P 🕊🕊🕊🕊
