Obituary

Mrs. Diania Linda Ware affectionately known as “Mema,” transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Diania L. Ware was born in Palatka, Florida, to the late Rosa Lee Shackelford and Eddie Johnson on April 10, 1962. Diania attended Palatka High School and graduated with the class of 1980. Diania joined Calvary Missionary Baptist church at an early age and was baptized by Reverend Wilson. Diania served dutifully on the Usher Board, Choir ministry, and Foodservice committee until her health declined. Mema served in the kitchen ministry for many years and became a food service leader in 2020.

She worked for Putnam County School Board for many years, VAW Aluminum for 8yrs, and home childcare. Diania enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her favorite football teams (Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Florida State Seminoles), and cooking. Mema welcomed many babies into her home providing them with love and warm meals. She was known as the neighborhood store/sherbie lady.

Preceding her in eternal rest in addition to her parents, Brother; David Fullwood, Sisters; Earnestine Johnson, and Phyllis Howard. In-laws Mr. Silas & Mrs. Annie Ware Jr.
