Mr. Freddie Taylor Sr., 75, of Palatka answered heavenly call Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at his residence. Freddie Lee Taylor Sr., 75, of Palatka, FL, passed away on August 16, 2023, peacefully at his residence. He was born on January 3, 1948 to the late Linda Crooms and Jesse Jackson in Homestead, FL.

Freddie was educated in the Putnam County School System, where he earned his High School Diploma. He served as a Military Police Officer during his time in the military. His dedication and commitment to his duty were evident in his service. He embraced the challenges and responsibilities that came with his role, earning the respect of his peers.

Freddie Lee Taylor Sr. was preceded in death by his brothers Johnny Lee Taylor, Harley Crooms, Michael Crooms, and daughter-in-law Trenease Taylor. Their memories will forever be held dear by those who loved them

He found solace in listening to music, watching TV, and expressing his creativity through drawing. He leaves to cherish his memories, sons Stephen Chandler, Freddie Taylor Jr. Tyrell (Carissa) Taylor; daughter Donna Lee; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Jimmie Lee Taylor, Danny (Shirley) Crooms, Charles (Lita) Crooms; and sister Melody Lane. He shared a special bond with his siblings, cherishing the moments they spent together.
