Obituary For Ingrid Ann Armstrong

Ingrid Ann Armstrong 54, of Palatka, FL (formerly) of Hastings, FL) transitioned from labor to reward on May 29, 2026, at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital in Palatka, Florida.

Ingrid Ann Armstrong was born to the late Leonard Grice and Catherine Armstrong on March 18, 1972, in Gainesville, Florida. Ingrid was raised in Hastings, FL, educated in the St. Johns County School District. Ingrid received her General Educational Diploma at Job Corps, in Gainesville, Florida. She continued her education in Nursing at Santa Fe Community College and St. Johns Community College.

Ingrid was very knowledgeable in the healthcare field, designating herself to be the family nurse. She was employed for many years at the Arlington House in Palatka, Florida, Ocarroll Homes and Brown Support Services. After leaving the nursing industry Ingrid became an Inspector for the Florida Potato Association.

Ingrid was of Christian faith, she had a beautiful voice, in her leisure time she would enjoy playing cards, chess, video games and joke with her family and friends. Ingrid was a great cook, and her house was often visited by family and friends for holiday meals.

Ingrid is preceded in eternal rest by her father Leonard Grice Sr., mother Catherine Armstrong, sisters Linden Jones and Nevada Grice, grandparents Isabel & Jack Armstrong, Bertha & Robert Grice, aunts Meterine Armstrong, Ola Mae Armstrong and Annie Jean Mozet, and special cousins Valerie and Herman Armstrong.

To forever cherish the memories of Ingrid Ann Armstrong are her beloved children: Antwaun Armstrong, Cotrelle Armstrong, Loreka Holloman, Destiny Oliver and Imani Walker; grandchild: Karmen Reid; siblings: Vanessa Murphy, Leonard Grice Jr., Lashonda Grice and Lenny Grice; aunts and uncles: Christine Grice, Joseph Grice and Jack Armstrong; cousin more like a sister: Carolyn Jones, special cousin Laquita Waring; bonus siblings: Edward Lawton, Charlene (Marcus) Medlock and Eddie Lawton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ingrid Ann Armstrong was a warrior; she fought until the end.
