Obituary

Mrs. Lurene Perry, 84, of Palatka, answered her heavenly call Friday, December 23, 2022, at her residence.

Lurene Phillip Perry, the daughter of Amos Lee and Lottie Adam Phillip, was born on Sunday, March 27, 1938. Lurene loved cooking, music, shopping, bringing joy to everyone she was around and going to church. She was an entrepreneur; she owned several businesses with her late husband, Eugene Perry, Sr.

Lurene entered into eternal rest on December 23, 2022.

Lurene was preceded in eternal rest by her parents her brother, sisters, daughter, Lottie Ann Phillip, sons, Johnathan Perry and Dale Perry, granddaughters, Nyeisha Perry and Latasha Brown, and grandson, Amos.

She leaves to cherish her memories, sons and daughters, Vance (Teresa) Perry, Amos Perry, Lonnie E. Perry, Douglas Perry, Dorothy (Marvin) Lewis, Alice (Keith) Garrell; stepson, Gregory (Paula) Grant; stepdaughter, Michelle Williams, all of Palatka; 46 grandchildren; 104 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; special caregiver, Julia Young, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
