Obituary

On October 21st in the year of the Lord 1974, In Palatka, Florida, a son Sammy Lee Lilly was born to his father, Sandy Murray Jr. and mother, Gladys Rives. Sammy accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age.

Sammy graduated from Palatka High in 1992; he received his License in Massage Therapy from First Coast Technical College in 2012. Sammy loved to read, play jokes on others, perform massages, music and he was so excited about playing a major role in his son Jaden life.

Sammy loved his mother, siblings, family and friends.

To Be Absent from The Body Is to Be Present with The Lord. On Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 12:31 a.m. God called the roll and Sammy Lee Lilly answered to his name and boarded the train to Glory.

He leaves to cherish his legacy, his son, Jaden L. Lilly, East Palatka, FL; mother, Gladys Rives, East Palatka, FL; siblings, Cynthia Lily Wilson (George), Gainesville, FL and Eddie Lorenzo Lilly (Juania), Davenport, FL; special cousins, Rosalind Gilmore, St. Augustine, FL, Dondray Russell, Gainesville, FL, Jannie Clark, Keystone Heights, FL; one special nephew, Dimitri Wilson, Gainesville, FL; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
