Obituary

Tarsha L. Torrance was born Tuesday, February 24, 1976, in Gainesville Florida to Pauline Hendrieth and Tom “Tweet” Torrance Jr. Tarsha was affectionately known by family and friends as “Tasha”.

Tarsha was educated in the Putnam County School District, graduating from Palatka High School Class of 1996. She loved spending quality time with her family. Tasha and her sisters had a very close relationship, they always took trips and went on outings together. She absolutely enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of The Emerge Church of Palatka under the leadership of Elder Leo and Lady Monay Parker.

Tarsha L. Torrance was proceeded in death by her parents: Pauline Hendrieth and Tom “Tweet" Torrance Jr.; grandparents: Mother Minnie Hendrieth, Luther Hendrieth, Ruby Lee Torrance, and Tom Torrance Sr.

To forever cherish the memories of Tasha are her children: Spenira Christopher (Altavius Stewart Sr.), Spenasia Christopher, Shayania Hightower, Spencer Christopher, and Nickolas Bryant; grandchildren: Altavius Stewart Jr. and Ka’leah Hightower; sisters: Nicole (Alton) Parker, and Kesha Townsend; nephews & nieces: Larry Watts, Datwan (Daza) Lewis, Quan Proctor, Kira Watts, Datwanira Lewis , Destiny Lewis , Jaqwon Lewis, Jada Lewis , BJ Harrison, Keshawn Harrison, Keyo Lewis, Legend Lewis, Legacy Lewis, Tamaria Boyd, Sevyn Lewis, JoJo Lewis, Mariah Mcclenton; godchildren: Jaskya Roberts, and Simeon Barbary; aunts & uncles: Lillie Bell Brooks, Izell Hendrieth, William Torrance (Julia), Johnnie Torrance (Debra), Willie Dregos Torrance and Geneva Torrance Smith; a host of cousins and friends.

On Monday, July 22, 2024, Tarsha L. Torrance answered her heavenly call at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
