Thelma “Mutt” Bell Whitfield, 89, a resident of Palatka, FL, entered into eternal rest on June 24, 2022 at Haven Hospice Care Center, following an extended illness. She was born December 19, 1932 to Riley Bell and Rebecca Watson. Thelma earned her high school diploma and was a former cafeteria employee at Mellon Elementary School for the Putnam County School District. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ. She enjoyed dressing up and wearing her nice clothes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Riley Bell and Rebecca Watson.

Those who cherish the memories, son, Reginald Whitfield, Lake City, FL; stepdaughter, Dorothy Whitfield, Palatka, FL; and stepson, Dale Whitfield, Palatka, FL; sister, Mildred Tilly Bell, Palatka, FL; devoted nephew, Riley Bell, Palatka, FL; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.
