Obituary

Ty’Kiara De’Nae McCants was born in Palatka, Florida on Tuesday, December 2, 1997, to Cornethia Isreal Forman and Thomas McCants. Ty’Kiara was affectionately known to many as “Ty”. She was educated in the Putnam County School District, graduating in the Class of 2016 from Palatka High School. Ty’Kiara was a full-time Honor Student in the Junior Class of Bethune Cookman University class of 2025 and former member of Victory Worship Center.

Ty enjoyed singing, cooking and spending time with her family. She had a special hand in making unique savory dishes and sensational treats. Her passion for cooking showed in taste and presentation. Her love for her family cannot be measured. She was full of love and did not mind sharing it with her family and friends.

Ty’Kiara was preceded in death by her father, Thomas McCants, grandparents, Daisy N. McCants and Perlie Edward Isreal.
