Vance Eugene Perry, Sr., 84, a resident of Palatka for more than 50 years, entered into eternal rest on May 13, 2022, following an extended illness.

Vance was employed as a logger and truck driver. He was also an Entrepreneur, owning several businesses.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Perry and Alice Ellis Perry; daughter, Lottie Ann Brown; and sons, Johnathan Perry and Dale Perry.

Vance is survived by his Loving wife, Lurene Perry, Palatka, FL; sons, Vance (Teresa) Perry, Douglas Perry, Amos Perry and Lonnie E. Perry, all of Palatka, FL; daughters, Dorothy (Marvin) Lewis, East Palatka, FL, Alice Brown (Keith) Garrell, Palm Coast, FL, and Michelle Williams Perry, Palatka, FL; brothers, Andrew Perry, Palatka, FL, Willie C. Perry and Cornelius Perry, both of Ft. Myers, FL; sisters, Alice Hightower, Brunswick, GA, Jannie Edwards, Barbara Woods, Cynthia (Albert “Papp”) Blue, all of Palatka, FL, and Lillian Powell, Ft. Myers, FL; 32 grandchildren, 104 great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
